THE LADY IN WAITING - Suzanne Ricard Gracious and attentive by her very nature, Suzanne Ricard is an accomplished glass artist and a quietly dominant figure at the hub of Eastern Quebec's arts and crafts community. From the Trois Rivieres Conseil de la Culture et des Communcations, to the Conseil des Metiers d'Art du Quebec, her wise and nurturing spirit guides artists and their organizations to new levels of personal and community growth. It is her command of her chosen medium, the patience in planning and placing numerous fragments of glass and binding them together as a whole, that ensures her success. From stained glass works and etching to her unmistakable hand in creating awe-inspiring snow sculptures with her husband Pierre Tessier, Suzanne is an accomplished integrator. As sensitive
as she is intelligent, Suzanne Ricard is a consummate Earth Mother. She
has the innate ability to draw things to her with firm commitment and
quiet persistence. Constantly learning and doing, she reaches out to know
people all over the world. She is captured reflecting her conscious commitment
to the goals of the individuals, and the community she so dearly loves.
